PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction - Badak NGL is  a world class liquefied natural gas (LNG) producers from Indonesia which is already established since 1974. PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction is a non profit company which whose all assets are owned by the Government of Indonesia, under the Ministry of Finance, and supervised by PT Pertamina (Persero), the national oil company of Indonesia. As of December 2012, Badak NGL is 55% owned by PT Pertamina (Persero), 20% by Vico Indonesia, 10% by Total E&P Indonesia and 15% by Japan Indonesia LNG Company - (JILCO). PT Badak NGL headquartered in Jakarta and having representative office in Balikpapan East Kalimantan. The Company's plant is situated in Bontang East Kalimantan with 22.5 millions tons per year of LNG production capacity. In 2012, Badak NGL’s production volume reported 19.76% down, from 861.597.896 GJ in 2011 to 691.312.637 GJ, while Company’s delivery volume declined by 18.99% to 695.348.112 GJ from 858.419.439 GJ. This was stated by Badak NGL in its 2012 Sustainability Report as cited by JobsCDC.com.

To answer the challenges of the future, PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction is looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions:


General Requirements
  • Male / Female.
  • Have a valid national identity card (KTP).
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) from college with majors accredited A.
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 450,
  • Willing to be located in Bontang Jobsite, East Kalimantan.
  • Willing to follow the Pre Employment Program (PEP) for 3 (three) months after passing the selection process. 
  • Excellent health, not color blind, drug-free, and well-behaved.
  • Demonstrated good command in English, both verbal and written.
  • Maximum age on the date of 30 September 2014:
    • Bachelor Degree (S1): 25 years (fresh graduates), 30 years (experience).
    • Diploma 3 (D3) : 23 years.
Documents Required
  1. Copy of valid ID Card.
  2. Legalized copies of Degree certifications or temporary degree verification statements (SKL) and transcripts.
  3. Legalized copy of Birth Certificate (akte kelahiran) or Surat Kenal Lahir.
  4. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  5. Medical and not color blind certificates, Police Records (SKCK) and drug-free certificate from the competent authority (submitted at the time of the tests).
  6. Recent color photographs size 4 x 6 cm - 2 pieces (submitted at the time of the tests).
  7. Write a valid telephone number / mobile phone which can be contacted, email and fixed address (zip code) in your cover letter.
  8. Write your Thesis / Final Project tittle.
  9. For positions that require experience, must attach a work reference letter as per the requirement.
