Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Republik Indonesia - Kementerian LH or the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia is one of the government ministries Indonesian in charge of environmental affairs. Kementerian LH has the main task to to assist the President of Republic Indonesia in formulating policy and coordination in the field of environment and control of environmental impacts. Kementerian LH is under and responsible directly to the President of Republic Indonesia. The Ministry is based in Jakarta and its head office is registered at DI Panjaitan Kav 24 Kebon Nanas East Jakarta 13410. Kementerian LH is headed by a Minister of the Environment (Menteri LH) that since the date of October 2011 held by Berth Kambuaya. The Minister is assisted by 7 deputy and 5 expert staff.
