Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara Republik Indonesia - Kementerian BUMN or the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises of Republic Indonesia (commonly abbreviated as the Ministry of SOE) is the Ministry in the Indonesian government which oversees in formulating policy and coordination in the field of establishment of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia. According to the Ministry of SOE's 2013 statistic as cited by JobsCDC.com, the Ministry of SOE oversees 138 state-owned companies at the end of May 2013, including 20 listed SOEs, 104 non listed SOEs and 14 Perum. Kementerian BUMN is responsible directly to the President of Republic Indonesia. The Ministry is based in Jakarta with its head office is registered at Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan No 13 Jakarta 1011. Since 2011, the media tycoon and former CEO state-owned electricity company PLN Dahlan Iskan was appointed by the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the Minister of State Owned Enterprises (SOE Minister).
